Most chiropractors regard the elimination of symptoms as the easiest part of a persons care. If all that the chiropractor does is to reduce the pain and stop there, the chances of the condition recurring are much greater. In order to prevent a rapid recurrence of symptoms, it is necessary to continue receiving care even though your symptoms are lessened or gone.
Transformational Care picks up where Discover Care left off. During the Transformational Level of your care, you will not have to receive adjustments as often as you did during the first Level of care. By this point, enough of the chronic protective stress and defense patterns have been released so that your spine will be able to accept a wider variety of adjustments. During this time we will address the more chronic or underlying stress, tension, and spinal distortion patterns; as we also work together to resolve the physical, chemical, and/or emotional stresses from your life that caused the problems in the first place.
The goal of Transformational care is to help bring your body back to 100% functioning in a way that teaches it how to stay well on its own. This is real and permanent change. Do not be discouraged if you have mild flare-ups in your symptoms on occasion. This is normal. Flare-ups are bound to occur during this Level of care because your body has not fully healed. It is typical to need chiropractic care or adjustments about 4-8 times per month for 6-24 months, depending on your overall health and the severity of your problem.
